Welcome to the American Association of State Policy Services’ website. This site is intended for use by members of the AASPS to exchange information regarding the development of school board policies across the United States.

Our "mission" as members of the American Association of State Policy Services is to provide guidance, mutual assistance and continuing education for one another in our roles as policy and governance consultants to school boards association membership.

If you are not a member of the AASPS, and are employed by a state school boards association in either policy development or legal services, you may join the AASPS at no cost by emailing your name, job title, and the name of the school boards association for which you work to the current President of AASPS, Ms. Elizabeth Ewing, Virginia School Boards Association. Once you become a member of the AASPS, your name will be added to our AASPS listserve so you will receive and be able to share information with other policy and legal experts across the country.

The AASPS holds one National Conference every spring. ***The 2010 AASPS annual conference will be held in Charlottesville, Virginia. Click here for more information.***
